Mission Statement
The mission of Durham Businesses Against Crime is to make Durham a safer community for its businesses and their patrons. This mission is to be accomplished by:
- Bonding together as a unit to deter crimes against businesses
- Assisting the police in the performance of their duties
- Informing the public
- Promoting educational programs, seminars, and exhibits to create an awareness of crimes and methods of prevention
- Working with the various governments and law enforcement agencies and community organizations to effect change
